Volkswagen Golf R 20 Years Revealed as Most Powerful Production Golf Ever

Volkswagen has decided to build a new Golf R to celebrate 20 years of the Volkswagen R performance division and it has now become the most powerful version of the Golf ever put into production.
It has been dubbed the Volkswagen Golf R 20 Years for obvious reasons and the EA888 turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder has been dialled up to produce 328 hp giving it a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 4.7 seconds.
Volkswagen has even gone so far as to integrate a raft of new design and technical features, including a new Emotional Start function that revs the engine up to 2500 rpm on start-up, which...
